Female privilege is getting to claim a headache to avoid sex.
Female oppression is having to claim physical illness to avoid sex because men won’t take a simple fucking “no” for an answer.
Female oppression is men being so entitled that they think being denied sex is oppressive.
yesterday in the car my mom said “theres always the one gay twin out of a pair” and my twin brother and I shot a glance at one another because we’re both the gay twin
sometimes people are like sunshine and sometimes people are like rainclouds but thats ok because both are important to make the flowers grow

What stuck more with me is that despite now terrified she was while pregnant, the only thing that calmed her in the end was that baby. The baby calmed Katniss so much that she was able to even feel joy while holding her. Those few sentences alone should be enough for people to see that Katniss did want children with Peeta. For her to feel joy so strong that it extinguished her fears, you’d have to want a baby pretty badly for that to be your reaction when she’s finally born.
And then she did it a second time, knowing full well that being pregnant is terrifying and doesn’t stop being terrifying until the moment she’s holding her baby in her arms. How someone can argue that Katniss did not want those children just astounds me.
